For a quieter stay, request a room facing the back of the hotel to avoid street noise.

The location near Ueno station made it incredibly convenient for exploring various attractions, allowing us to access both shops and eateries quickly.
Unfortunately, the breakfast options were quite limited and served on awkwardly divided plastic dishes, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

The location next to Ueno station stands out immediately. It only took me 5 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel after a two-hour ride on the Tohoku Shinkansen. The room was clean with modern furnishings, though quite compact. I appreciated the complimentary wifi, which worked seamlessly throughout my stay. The lobby area, while small, had a few PCs available for checking flight statuses. The staff were efficient, although some struggled with English communication. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but plenty of dining options were within a short walking distance. However, I did encounter a couple of issues. The bed was on the firmer side, not what I expected for comfort. Additionally, I had to figure out that the hot water needed to be manually activated from a separate control panel, which left me without hot water for a night. Each of these issues slightly detracted from my experience, but the overall accessibility and cleanliness made up for it.

A few minutes from the train station in a quieter area, the location is perfect for exploring. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, especially when housekeeping noticed I needed an extra pillow. However, breakfast options were unimpressive, served on awkwardly divided plastic dishes. The room was clean, but a bit cramped for comfort.

Had a nice stay with a clean, cozy room and a handy fridge for snacks. I enjoyed unwinding in the little reading nook and taking advantage of the fast Wi-Fi to catch up on my favorite shows. Just a heads up, the lobby is on the smaller side, but it wasn't a big deal. 😊
